Accessibility
Calm should never mean hard to perceive.
Awan is being built so that prayer and sleep planning remain understandable with assistive technology, larger text, reduced motion and without colour alone.
Statement updated 11 August 2026
Website
We target WCAG 2.2 AA. The site uses semantic headings and landmarks, visible keyboard focus, 44-pixel minimum controls, descriptive labels, reduced-motion support, responsive reflow and text alternatives for interactive graphs. Core content and legal pages remain available without interaction.
iPhone and Apple Watch
Awan supports Dynamic Type, VoiceOver labels and summaries, sufficient contrast in light and dark appearances, Reduce Motion, non-colour chart states and system controls where practical. Time values use tabular digits for scanability while retaining spoken labels.
Known beta limits
We are testing very large Dynamic Type on dense timeline and chart screens, VoiceOver order after live alarm-state changes, and Watch layouts at the smallest supported size. Product screenshots are illustrative and are not the accessible alternative to app content.
